Foodville Festival Giveaway – Terms & Conditions

This giveaway is sponsored by Foodville Festival Inc. (referred to as “the Sponsor”). By entering, participants agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions:

1. Eligibility

• The giveaway is open to legal residents of Ontario who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.

• Employees, vendors, and immediate family members of the Sponsor or its affiliates are not eligible to win.

2. How to Enter

Eligible participants may enter the giveaway in one or more of the following ways:

1. Event Entry – Attend Foodville Festival 2025 and register at the designated giveaway activation booth.

2. Mail-In Entry – Fill out the No Purchase Necessary form at foodvillefest.com/giveaways.

3. Mailing List Entry – Join the Foodville mailing list via foodvillefest.com to receive one (1) entry.

4. Text Campaign Entry – Text the word “FOODVILLE” to the designated SMS number provided at the festival or on promotional materials. By entering via SMS, you consent to receive marketing communications. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP.

All entries must include a correct answer to the following skill-testing question in order to qualify:
What is 5 + 3 × 2?

3. Prize Details

Grand Prize:

• One (1) all-expense-paid trip to The Islands of the Bahamas including:

  • Roundtrip airfare for two (2) from Toronto to Nassau, Bahamas

  • Six (6) days and five (5) nights at Margaritaville Beach Resort Nassau

  • Ground transportation to and from the airport

  • A food voucher valued up to $600 BSD

  • On-island point of contact for questions or general guidance during the stay

4. Winner Selection & Notification

• Winners will be selected randomly from eligible entries after the event.

• All winners must correctly answer the skill-testing question.

• Winners will be notified via email, text, or phone call within 5 business days.

• If a selected winner cannot be contacted or does not respond within 72 hours, an alternate winner may be selected.

5. General Terms

• Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

• The Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the original prize becomes unavailable.

• All travel must be completed by the dates specified. Extensions will not be permitted.

6. Liability & Waiver

• Winners must sign a standard liability waiver releasing Foodville Festival Inc. and its partners from any claims, injury, loss, or damage related to participation or travel.

• All travel is at the participant’s own risk and subject to the terms of the travel providers.

7. Privacy Policy

• All personal information collected will be handled in accordance with the Sponsor’s Privacy Policy.

• By entering, participants consent to the collection and use of their data for the purposes of administering this giveaway and receiving occasional promotional updates from Foodville Festival.
